some tips for audition (which hopefully will help) :
1. just before you audition,
say this to yourself :
I can do it! I can do it! I can do it! ... until you think you are confident enough.
2. don't be nervous, just take your own time. even if getting ready means taking
20bars of the metronome, just do it.
3. don't just play the notes, enjoy it.
4. if you play wrong note/rhythm/squeak, don't be stunned and stop there shocked.
continue and act as if you didn't play wrongly.
well, just be confident of yourself :D
